Identity, access and information we collect
When you sign up to a Sybu Data Cloud Application, i.e. Sybu Cloud Booking System, CloudSD, CloudBroker or CloudScale, we collect information, including personal information, in a variety of ways which may vary according to your use of the Service and your account settings. The categories of personal information we collect may include:
- Contact and profile information
- Account and authentication information from third-party integrated services
- Location information
- Information about your browser or device
- Non-personal information which may be linked to your Personal Information
Below, we describe examples of the categories of information we collect from and about you when you use our Service:
Information you provide to us and information we receive about you from others
Contact and profile information.
When you create an account for the Sybu Data Cloud Application, or communicate with us, we may collect personal information including your name, email address. After you register, you may also provide additional information in your profile, company name, location and other personal or demographic information. In addition, we may ask you for personal information at other times, such as when you contact our technical support team, send us an email, complete a user survey, or otherwise communicate with Sybu Data.
Information from Integrated Sign-On Services, Google OATH User Data
If you decide to register through or otherwise grant access to a third-party social networking or integrated service (what we call an “Integrated Service”), such as Facebook, Google or similar single sign-on service the following may apply.
Sybu Data will collect and store Personal Information, that is your email address, name, surname and profile picture, that is already associated with your Integrated Service account. You may also have the option of sharing additional information with Sybu Data through an Integrated Service, as controlled through your settings on that Integrated Service.
Sybu Data will not share your information collected from the Integrated services, unless required required by Law enforcement.
Your Rights With Respect to Your Information, GDPR
General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) gives people under its protection certain rights with respect to their personal information collected by us on the Site. Accordingly, Sybu Data recognizes and will comply with GDPR and those rights, except as limited by applicable law. The rights under GDPR include:
Right of Access. This includes your right to access the personal information we gather about you, and your right to obtain information about the sharing, storage, security and processing of that information.
Right to Correction. This is your right to request correction of your personal information.
Right to Erasure. This is your right to request, subject to certain limitations under applicable law, that your personal information be erased from our possession (also known as the “Right to be forgotten”). However, if applicable law requires us to comply with your request to delete your information, fulfillment of your request may prevent you from using Sybu Data services and may result in closing your account.
Right to Restrict Processing. This is your right to request restriction of how and why your personal information is used or processed.
Right to Portability. This is your right to receive the personal information we have about you and the right to transmit it to another party.

Processors we use
As part of the services we provide, and only to the extent necessary, we may use certain third party processors to process some or all of your personal information. For identification of these processors, and where they are located, please see the list of 3rd party processors below.
Amazon Web Services. Cloud services provider.

Google Cloud Platform. Cloud services provider.
Microsoft Azure. Cloud services provider.
Sendgrid. Email Messaging service.
SMSPortal. SMS Messaging service
Sybu Data won’t hand your data over to law enforcement unless a court order says we have to. We will inform you when such requests are made.
Security & Encryption
All data is encrypted via SSL/TLS when transmitted from our servers to your browser.
When you cancel your account, we’ll ensure that nothing is stored on our servers past 30 days. Anything you delete on your account while it’s active will also be purged within 30 days
Location of Site and Data
Our service is managed from South Africa, but the Cloud Applications and data are hosted by the 3rd party Service providers as stipulated in section “Processors we use” – Cloud services provider. These are located in European Union and United States of America.
